| We, the Leaders of the People's Republic of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea gathered for the Third Summit Meeting in Jeju, the Republic of Korea, on May 29, 2010. | | 我们，中华人民共和国、日本国和大韩民国领导人，于2010年5月29日在韩国济州岛举行了第三次中日韩领导人会议。 |
We shared the common view that it is important to strengthen trilateral cooperation on standards. We also expressed our satisfaction with the recent progress of such cooperation among the three countries, and with the resulting benefits to the international standardization community. We recognized that cooperation on standards is a key tool by which to facilitate trade through the elimination of unnecessary technical barriers to trade, and also acknowledged that cooperation on standards can create new driving forces for the economic growth of the Northeast Asian region.
