The provisions of the Supplementary Agreement VIII to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement and Supplementary Agreement VIII to the Mainland and Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (hereinafter referred to as the “Supplementary Agreement VIII”) on amending the rules of origin shall come into force on April 1, 2012. We hereby notify you of the relevant matters as follows: | |
《〈内地与香港关于建立更紧密经贸关系的安排〉补充协议八》和《〈内地与澳门关于建立更紧密经贸关系的安排〉补充协议八》（以下统称《补充协议八》）中有关修订原产地规则的规定将自2012年4月1日起实施。现就有关事宜公告如下： |

I. With regard to the raw materials or components to be exported from the Mainland to Hong Kong or Macao for manufacturing finished export products under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement or the Mainland and Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (hereinafter referred to as the “Mainland-Hong Kong CEPA or Mainland-Macao CEPA”) in accordance with the provisions of Supplementary Agreement VIII, their origins shall be determined in accordance with the rules of origin set forth in Annex 2 to the Mainland-Hong Kong CEPA or Mainland-Macao CEPA respectively.
