| Dietary supplements are suitable for consumption by specific people, but not for the purpose of treating diseases. In accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Measures for the Administration of the Registration and Recordation of Dietary Supplements and other laws and regulations, the Guide for the Labeling of Warning Signal Words on Dietary Supplements is prepared in order to guide the labeling of warning signal words for dietary supplements, make it easier for consumers to distinguish dietary supplements from ordinary food and drugs, and encourage consumers' rational consumption. | | 保健食品适用于特定人群食用，但不以治疗疾病为目的。为指导保健食品警示用语标注，使消费者更易于区分保健食品与普通食品、药品，引导消费者理性消费，根据《中华人民共和国食品安全法》《保健食品注册与备案管理办法》等法律法规，研究制定了《保健食品标注警示用语指南》。 |
| I. Warning signal words | | 一、警示用语 |
A label shall devote a section to warning signal words. The section shall be located on the principal display panel (“PDP”) of the minimum sale package (container), and its occupation shall not be less than 20% of the area. There shall be a significant color difference between the text in the warning signal word section and the background of the section. Warning signal words shall be printed in bold type and include the following:
