| Announcement on Preventing Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever from Spreading into China from the Democratic Republic of the Congo | | 关于防止刚果民主共和国埃博拉出血热疫情传入我国的公告 |
| According to a news release of the World Health Organization on August 4, a new outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever has been declared in North Kivu and Ituri Provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As of August 3, 2018, a total of 43 Ebola virus disease cases, including 33 deaths, have been reported. For the purposes of preventing Ebola hemorrhagic fever from spreading into China and protecting the health and safety of the Chinese citizens traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in accordance with the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China and the detailed rules for the implementation thereof and other laws and regulations, the following announcement is hereby issued: | | 根据世界卫生组织8月4日通报，刚果民主共和国的北基伍省（North kivu）和伊图里省（Ituri）暴发新一轮埃博拉出血热疫情，截至8月3日，共报告埃博拉出血热病例43例，其中死亡33例。为防止埃博拉出血热传入我国，保护我国前往刚果民主共和国人员的健康安全，根据《中华人民共和国国境卫生检疫法》及其实施细则等法律法规的规定，现公告如下： |
I. If any persons traveling from the Democratic Republic of the Congo have symptoms such as fever, extreme weakness, headache, myalgia, sore throat, and conjunctival injection, they shall, when entering China, make health and quarantine declaration and fully cooperate in body temperature monitoring, medical screening and other work. The Customs shall effectively take precautions and medical measures under the prescribed procedures for persons entering China who are found to have the aforesaid symptoms; and take strict disinfection measures against the blood, secretions or other body fluids and excreta of infected persons or suspected ones as well as objects contacted by them. Those who show the aforesaid symptoms within three weeks after entering China shall seek medical advice immediately and inform doctors of their recent travel histories.
．．．．．． | | 一、来自刚果民主共和国的人员，如有发热、极度虚弱、头痛、肌痛、咽痛、结膜充血等症状，入境时应当进行卫生检疫申报，配合做好体温监测、医学排查等工作。海关对发现有上述症状的入境人员做好防护，并按照规定程序采取医学措施；对染疫或染疫嫌疑人的血液、分泌物或其他体液以及排泄物及其接触过的物品，采取严格的消毒措施。入境后3周内出现上述症状的人员，应当立即就医，并向医生说明近期的旅行史。
