The First Session of the Seventh National People's Congress has decided to establish the Drafting Committee for the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, which shall be in charge of drafting the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region. | |
第七届全国人民代表大会第一次会议决定成立中华人民共和国澳门特别行政区基本法起草委员会，负责澳门特别行政区基本法的起草工作。 |
The Drafting Committee for the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be accountable to the National People's Congress and, when the Congress is not in session, to its Standing Committee. The Drafting Committee for the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region shall be composed of people from various quarters and of experts, including compatriots in Macao. The namelist shall be decided upon and announced by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. | |
澳门特别行政区基本法起草委员会向全国人民代表大会负责，在全国人民代表大会闭会期间，向全国人民代表大会常务委员会负责。澳门特别行政区基本法起草委员会由包括澳门同胞在内的各方面的人士和专家组成，具体组成人员名单由全国人民代表大会常务委员会决定并公布。 |
