After deliberation, we hereby propose the following reply opinions regarding the relevant issues concerning the procedures for employment of foreigners in China: | |
你厅《关于外国人在中国就业管理有关问题的请示》（甘劳社发[2005]86号）收悉。经研究，现就外国人在中国就业办理就业手续有关问题，提出如下答复意见： |
In accordance with the Measures for the Administration of Employment of Foreigners in China (No. 29 [1996] of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security), a foreigner who intends to be employed in China shall bring his work visa to enter China, obtain the “Employment Certificate for Foreigners” (hereinafter referred to as employment certificate) upon strength of the work visa, and then go through the procedures for foreigners' residence.

按照《外国人在中国就业管理规定》（劳部发[1996]29号）规定，外国人在中国就业，应当持职业签证入境，凭职业签证办理《外国人就业证》（以下简称就业证）后，办理外国人居留手续。
