| For purposes of implementing the Measures for the Application and Issuance of Residence Permits for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Residents (No. 81 [2018], the General Office of the State Council) and ensuring that Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents living in the Chinese mainland, in accordance with the law, enjoy almost the same rights, public services and conveniences in their place of abode as the mainland residents, the notice on effectively implementing the related work in human resources and social security is hereby issued as follows: | | 为贯彻落实《港澳台居民居住证申领发放办法》（国办发〔2018〕81号），确保港澳台居民在居住地依法享受与内地（大陆）居民基本相同的权利、公共服务和便利，现就人力资源社会保障领域做好贯彻落实工作通知如下： |
I. From September 1, 2018 on, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents who hold residence permits for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents will be given access to the following conveniences: employment and social insurance in their places of abode, the basic public employment services provided by the local government, and entering for vocational qualification examinations and applying for vocational qualification in their places of abode.
