In accordance with the Plan for Deepening the Reform of Party and State Institutions, the duties of price supervisory inspection and anti-monopoly enforcement have been assigned from the National Development and Reform Commission (“NDRC”) to the State Administration for Market Regulation. On June 26, 2019, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the Interim Provisions on Prohibiting Monopoly Agreements, the Interim Provisions on Prohibiting Abuse of Dominant Market Positions, and the Interim Provisions on Prohibiting the Acts of Eliminating or Restricting Competition by Abuse of Administrative Power, which shall come into force on September 1, 2019. For the purpose of effectively conducting system connection, it is hereby decided to repeal the Provisions on Anti-Price Fixing and another rule as well as the Decision of the National Development and Reform Commission on the Empowerment of Anti-monopoly Law Enforcement and another regulatory document.
