| For purposes of implementing the arrangements and requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on further opening up the financial sector, and effectively making supporting amendments to the relevant laws and regulations, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission has drafted the Decision of the State Council to Amend the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Foreign-Funded Banks (Consultation Paper) and hereby requests public comments thereon.
