The Measures for the Administration of Pre-examination and Separation of Patients with Infectious Diseases by Medical Institutions, which were adopted through discussion at the executive meeting of the Ministry of Health on December 16, 2004, are hereby promulgated, and shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
 
《医疗机构传染病预检分诊管理办法》已于2004年12月16日经卫生部部务会议讨论通过,现予以发布,自发布之日起施行。

医疗机构传染病预检分诊管理办法


 
Article 1 With a view to regulating the work of medical institutions for their pre-examination and separation of patients with infectious diseases, effectively controlling the epidemic situation of infectious diseases, preventing cross infection within a medical institution, and safeguarding the physical health and life security of the mass people, the present Measures are formulated in accordance with the provisions of Article 52 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.   第一条 为规范医疗机构传染病预检、分诊工作,有效控制传染病疫情,防止医疗机构内交叉感染,保障人民群众身体健康和生命安全,根据《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》第五十二条的规定,制定本办法。

 
Article 2 A medical institution shall set up the system for pre-examination and separation of patients with infectious diseases.   第二条 医疗机构应当建立传染病预检、分诊制度。

The hospitals of Grade Two or above shall set up departments of infectious disease to be responsible for the concrete work of separating patients with infectious diseases of their own medical institutions, and shall make organization and management on the work for pre-examination and separation of patients with infectious diseases of their own medical institutions.
 
二级以上综合医院应当设立感染性疾病科,具体负责本医疗机构传染病的分诊工作,并对本医疗机构的传染病预检、分诊工作进行组织管理。

A medical institution that has not set up the department of infectious disease shall set up a division for separating patients with infectious diseases.
 
没有设立感染性疾病科的医疗机构应当设立传染病分诊点。

The department of infectious disease and the division for separating patients with infectious diseases shall have clear mark, be relatively independent, be in good ventilation conditions, and have reasonable flow, as well as have isolation conditions for disinfection and necessary protective equipment.

感染性疾病科和分诊点应当标识明确,相对独立,通风良好,流程合理,具有消毒隔离条件和必要的防护用品。
