| Announcement on Adjusting the Supervision Mode for Imported Cotton | | 关于调整进口棉花监管方式的公告 |
| For the purposes of thoroughly promoting the reform of “simplifying procedures, decentralizing powers, combining decentralization with appropriate control, and optimizing services,” further improving the port business environment, and enhancing trade facilitation, the General Administration of Customs has decided to optimize the supervision mode for the quality of imported cotton. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows: | | 为深入推进“放管服”改革，进一步改善口岸营商环境，提升贸易便利化水平，海关总署决定对进口棉花品质检测监管方式进行优化。现就有关事项公告如下： |
I. The Customs shall conduct sampling inspection of imported cotton at the request of enterprises, instead of currently conducting sampling inspection of each batch of imported cotton; when necessary, the Customs may ex officio conduct supervisory inspection.
