For purposes of promoting exchange and cooperation of the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, realizing close contacts between cross-strait personnel, furthering integrated cross-strait economic and social development, and protecting the lawful rights and interests of cross-strait compatriots, the Ministry of Justice has decided to amend the Administrative Measures for the Practice of Law in the Chinese Mainland by Taiwan Residents Holding the National Legal Profession Qualifications as follows:
