The rule, namely, the Measures for the Administration of External Guarantees Provided by Domestic Institutions (issued by Document No. 302 [1996], PBC and promulgated by Order No. 3 [1996], PBC), and two regulatory documents, namely, the Notice on Strengthening the Administration of the RMB Loan Business under the Item of Foreign Exchange Guarantees of Domestic Financial Institutions (No. 458 [1998], PBC) and the Notice on Improving the Administration of RMB Loans under the Item of Foreign Exchange Guarantees (No. 223 [1999], PBC), as issued by the People's Republic of China, shall be repealed on the date of issuance of this Announcement.
