In view of the sound development of China's foreign exchange market and the increasingly stronger capabilities of market participants in independent pricing and risk management, to satisfy the requirements of market development, allow the market to play a greater role in deciding exchange rates, and establish a regulated floating exchange rate system based on market supply and demand, the People's Bank of China has decided to expand the floating range of CNY/USD exchange rates in the foreign exchange market, and the relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
