To implement the spirits of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, support the development of E-commerce of China, encourage and guide the active participation of foreign investment, and further activate market competition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has decided, based on the pilot program launched in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, to remove the restrictions on foreign equity ratios in online data processing and transaction processing (operating e-commerce) business across the country, allowing the foreign equity ratios to be increased to 100%.
