In order to implement the Opinions of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on the Establishment of the “Belt and Road” International Commercial Dispute Resolution Mechanism and Institutions in an in-depth manner, establish a platform for the resolution of international commercial disputes with the organic connection of litigation, mediation, and arbitration, and form a “one-stop” diversified mechanisms for resolving international commercial disputes that is convenient, quick, and cost-efficient, the Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues concerning the Establishment of the International Commercial Court (Interpretation No. 11 [2018] of the Supreme People's Court) specifies that the International Commercial Court of the Supreme People's Court (hereinafter referred to as the “International Commercial Court”) shall give support to the parties in resolving international commercial disputes by selecting a method they deem appropriate through the dispute resolution platform with organic connection of mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
