| I. These measures are formulated for the purpose of implementing Measures of the People's Republic of China for Prohibition Against Bringing the State Currency into and out of China, which has been promulgated by the Government Administration Council of the Central People's Government. | | 一、为贯彻中央人民政府政务院发布“中华人民共和国禁止国家货币出入国境办法”的执行，特制定本办法。 |

| II. The term "negotiable instruments and securities in the State currency" (hereinafter referred to as "instruments in the domestic currency") referred to herein means the following items: | | 二、本办法所称之国家货币票据及证券（以下简称本币票据）系指下列各项： |

| 1. drafts, promissory notes, cheques, deposit certificates and passbooks in China with payment to be made in the domestic currency; | | １．国内支付本币之汇票、本票、支票、存单及存折； |

2. such negotiable securities as government bonds, share certificates and debenture bonds that are issued domestically; and
