| Announcement on Preventing Columbian Foot-and-Mouth Disease from Spreading to China | | 关于防止哥伦比亚口蹄疫传入我国的公告 |
| On October 11, 2018, the Columbian government gave an urgent notification to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) that an outbreak of O-type foot-and-mouth disease occurred in the Province of Cesar of the country, a former immune disease-free zone recognized by the Chinese government. For purposes of protecting the safety of China's animal husbandry and preventing the epidemic from entering our territory, in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Quarantine of Imported and Exported Animals and Plants and other relevant laws and regulations, this Announcement is hereby issued as follows: | | 2018年10月11日，哥伦比亚官方向世界动物卫生组织（OIE）紧急通报，该国塞萨尔省（Cesar）发生1起O型口蹄疫疫情，疫点位于此前我国认可的口蹄疫免疫无疫区内。为保护我国畜牧业安全，防止疫情传入，根据《中华人民共和国海关法》《中华人民共和国进出境动植物检疫法》等有关法律法规的规定，现公告如下： |
| I. Direct or indirect import of cloven-hoofed animals and relevant products made thereof from Columbia; and the issuance of Quarantine Licenses for Imported Animals and Plants shall be ceased for cloven-hoofed animals and relevant products from Columbia. | | 一、禁止直接或间接从哥伦比亚输入偶蹄动物及其相关产品，停止签发从哥伦比亚输入偶蹄动物及其相关产品的《进境动植物检疫许可证》。 |
II. Cloven-hoofed animals and relevant products shipped from Columbia on and after the date of issuance of this Announcement shall be all returned or destroyed; and cloven-hoofed animals and relevant products shipped from Columbia before the date of issuance of this Announcement shall be subject to more stringent quarantine and can only be released after passing quarantine.
