| Article 1 These Provisions are formulated for the purpose of determining civil liability of the carrier for the bodily injury of a passenger sustained in domestic air transport. | | 第一条 为确定国内航空运输承运人对旅客身体损害应当承担的民事责任，制定本规定。 |

| Article 2 These Provisions shall be applicable to the compensation for bodily injury of a passenger sustained in domestic air passenger transport. | | 第二条 本规定适用于国内航空旅客运输中发生的旅客身体损害赔偿。 |
"Domestic air passenger transport" referred to in the preceding paragraph means any air passenger transport in which, according to the contract of carriage, the place of departure, the agreed stopping places and the place of destination are all within the territory of the People's Republic of China. | |
前款所称国内航空运输，是指根据航空旅客运输合同，运输的始发地、约定经停地和目的地都在中华人民共和国领域内的航空旅客运输。 |

Article 3 The carrier shall be liable for compensation in the event of death or injury sustained by a passenger on board an aircraft or in the course of embarkation or disembarkation.
