| Announcement on Matters Concerning the Inspection, Supervision and Administration of the Labels of Imported and Exported Prepackaged Foods | | 关于进出口预包装食品标签检验监督管理有关事宜的公告 |
| For the purpose of implementing the requirements of the State Council regarding the reform of simplification of administrative procedures, delegation of powers, combination of decentralization and control and optimization of services and further raising the efficiency of customs clearance, in accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulation on the Implementation thereof, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Inspection of Imported and Exported Commodities and the Regulation on the implementation thereof and other laws and regulations, the matters concerning the inspection, supervision and administration of the labels of imported and exported prepackaged foods are hereby announced as follows: | | 为贯彻落实国务院深化“放管服”改革要求，进一步提高口岸通关效率，依据《中华人民共和国食品安全法》及其实施条例、《中华人民共和国进出口商品检验法》及其实施条例等法律法规规定，现就进出口预包装食品标签检验监督管理有关事宜公告如下： |
I. As from October 1, 2019, the labeling requirements for the first import of prepackaged foods will be canceled. As one of the food inspection items, the labels of imported prepackaged food shall be inspected by the Customs in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and administrative regulations on food safety and inspection of imported and exported commodities.
