Defendant: Tie Ying, female, 66 years old, born in Shandong Province, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Beijing National People's Congress. She was arrested on February 8, 1996 because of this case and was released on June 24, 1997 upon bail and awaiting trial.@#
The Branch Bureau of Beijing People's Procuratorate made a public prosecution in Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court against Tie Ying, the defendant, for acceptance of bribes. Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court publicly tried this case. It found that:@#
During the period from 1992 to 1995, Tie Ying successively assumed the positions of the Secretary-general of the Municipal Government concurrently and Director of the Legal Affairs Office, Director of the General Office of the Municipal Government, and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Beijing. She sought benefits for others by taking advantage of her positions and accepted others' huge amount of properties as follows:@#

被告人：铁英，女，６６岁，山东省人，原系北京市人大常委会副主任。因本案于１９９６年２月８日被逮捕，１９９７年６月２４日被取保候审。@#
北京市人民检察院分院以被告人铁英犯受贿罪，向北京市第一中级人民法院提起公诉。北京市第一中级人民法院依法公开审理了此案。查明：@#
被告人铁英于１９９２年至１９９５年，在先后任北京市人民政府秘书长兼市政府法制办主任、市政府办公厅主任和北京市人大常委会副主任期间，利用职务上的便利为他人谋取利益，收受他人给予的巨额财物如下：@#
　　一、１９９２年１１月至１２月，被告人铁英在出任北京投资贸易洽谈会市人民政府代表团总团副团长兼秘书长赴香港招商期间，收受港商刘常名给予的ＲＯＬＥＸ牌总统型男、女手表各１块（共价值人民币１５．２７万元）、ＳＯＮＹ牌ＣＣＤ－－ＴＲ３０３Ｅ型摄像机１台（价值人民币８８００元）、金项链３条（价值人民币２０６０元）。回京后，铁英接受请托，为刘常名与北京市人民政府所属北京新大都实业总公司洽商合资项目提供帮助，并参与批准了三个合资项目。后因港商资金不到位等原因合资项目被取消。@#
　　二、１９９２年间，被告人铁英因曾经接受天平利园酒店有限公司董事长李路、顾问梁冰的请托，帮助解决了该公司缴纳土地使用权出让金的问题，收受了李路给予的ＳＯＮＹ牌ＶＦ１型台式音响１台（价值人民币１．０８万元）。@#
　　三、１９９２年至１９９３年间，被告人铁英因对其主管的新大都饭店在借款、扩建、引进合资等项目上给予了支持和帮助，先后３次收受新大都饭店总经理石路明（另案处理）给予的港币２万元（折合人民币１．４４万余元）、人民币１万元、蓝宝石戒指与翡翠戒指各１枚（价值人民币３８９０元）。@#
　　四、１９９２年至１９９３年间，被告人铁英接受台商吴昌明请托，协调解决了吴昌明等人与北京市农工商总公司下属圆山大酒店的纠纷，并帮助吴昌明向北京市财政性资金管理分局申请低息借款人民币２００万元，先后３次收受吴昌明给予的钻戒１枚（价值人民币４．２万余元）、ＯＭＥＧＡ牌女式手表一块（价值人民币６３００元）及美金１万元（折合人民币５．７６万余元）。@#
