| Decision of the Ministry of Transport to Amend the International Vessel Security Rules of the People's Republic of China | | 交通运输部关于修改《中华人民共和国国际船舶保安规则》的决定 |
| As decided by the Ministry of Transport, the International Vessel Security Rules of the People's Republic of China (Order No. 2 [2007], Ministry of Transport) are amended as follows: | | 交通运输部决定对《中华人民共和国国际船舶保安规则》（交通部令2007年第2号）作如下修改： |
| I. One subparagraph is added as subparagraph (3) of Article 3: “The vessel inspection institutions shall perform the following duties in accordance with the authorization of the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China and the relevant provisions of these Rules: | | 一、第三条增加一款，作为第三款：“ 船舶检验机构依据中华人民共和国海事局的授权和本规则有关规定具体履行下列职责： |
| “(1) Conducting a technical review of the Vessel Security Plan. | | （一）对《船舶保安计划》进行技术审核； |
| “(2) Issuing the International Vessel Security Certificate and the Temporary International Vessel Security Certificate.” | | （二）签发《国际船舶保安证书》和《临时国际船舶保安证书》。” |
II. In subparagraph (4), paragraph 2 of Article 3, subparagraph (10) of Article 4, subparagraphs (2) and (3) of Article 9, subparagraphs (1) and (2) of Article 10, subparagraph (2) of Article 28, subparagraph (5), paragraph 1 of Article 30, and subparagraph (3) of Article 37, “that has been approved” is replaced with “that has passed the examination”; “and reporting it for approval” in subparagraph (10) of Article 4 is replaced with “and reporting it for examination”; in subparagraph (1), paragraph 1 of Article 48, “the issuing authority” is replaced with “the issuing institution”.
