1. The BRICS Ministers of Foreign Affairs/International Relations held their annual meeting on the margins of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74) on 26 September 2019, chaired by the Russian Federation in the country's capacity as the incoming BRICS Chair for 2020.   1、2019年9月26日,金砖国家外长在第74届联合国大会期间举行例行会晤。2020年金砖国家主席国俄罗斯主持会议。
2. The Ministers exchanged views on major global and regional issues on the UN agenda in the political, security, economic, financial and sustainable development spheres, as well as on intra-BRICS activities. They expressed support for continued cooperation of BRICS members in areas of mutual interest, including through regular exchanges amongst their Permanent Missions to the United Nations.   2、外长们就联合国议程上的政治、安全、经济、金融、可持续发展等领域全球和地区问题以及金砖国家合作进行了深入交流。外长们支持继续就共同关心的问题开展合作,包括通过常驻联合国代表团定期会晤等。
3. The Ministers recalled that 2020 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and of the end of the Second World War. They reaffirmed support to efforts towards making global governance more inclusive, representative and participatory with greater participation of emerging markets and developing countries in global decision-making.   3、外长们认识到2020年是联合国成立及第二次世界大战结束75周年。外长们重申支持增强全球治理包容性、代表性和参与性,加大新兴市场和发展中国家参与全球决策。
4. The Ministers recommitted themselves to a world of peace and stability. They emphasized the central role of the United Nations and their commitment to uphold the purposes and principles enshrined in the UN Charter, respect for international law and to promote sustainable development, democracy, human rights and the rule of law.   4、外长们重申致力于世界和平与稳定,支持联合国的核心作用和《联合国宪章》宗旨和原则,尊重国际法,促进可持续发展、民主、人权和法治。
5. The Ministers recalled the 2005 World Summit Outcome document and reaffirmed the need for a comprehensive reform of the UN, including its Security Council, with a view to making it more representative, effective and efficient, and to increase the representation of the developing countries so that it can adequately respond to global challenges. China and Russia reiterated the importance they attach to the status and role of Brazil, India and South Africa in international affairs and support their aspiration to play a greater role in the UN.   5、外长们回顾2005年世界首脑会议成果文件,重申需要对联合国包括其安理会进行全面改革,使之更具代表性、效力和效率,增强发展中国家代表性,以应对全球挑战。中国和俄罗斯重申重视巴西、印度和南非在国际事务中的地位和作用,支持其希望在联合国发挥更大作用的愿望。
6. The Ministers welcomed the special focus of the high-level segment of the UNGA74 on sustainable development and the holding of the Climate and SDG Summits and high-level events on Health and Financing for Development. The Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and called for redoubled efforts for its timely implementation.
