| For the purposes of further improving the statistics of external financial assets and liabilities and transactions, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) has revised the Statistical System of External Financial Assets and Liabilities and Transactions issued in June 2016 (for the revised version, see Annexes 1 and 2), and you are hereby notified of the major revisions as follows: | | 为进一步完善对外金融资产负债及交易统计，国家外汇管理局对2016年6月印发的《对外金融资产负债及交易统计制度》进行了修订（修订后内容见附件1、2），主要修订内容如下。 |
| I. The business types such as “Equity of Red-chip Companies Listed Overseas Held by Residents”, “Bond Connect”, “QDLP”, and “QDIE” are added to Tables B01, B06, and H02. | | 一、新增“居民持有境外上市红筹企业股权”、“债券通”、 “QDLP”、“QDIE”等业务类型。该调整涉及B01表、B06表、H02表。 |
| II. Indicators are added to some statements to meet additional data requirements. First, the “Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)” is added to Table Z01. Second, the name, code and sector information of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) or shell companies are collected in Table A01-1 as supplemental information. Third, five indicators, namely “Debtor's Name”, “Contractual Amount”, “Capital Use”, “Original Days of Loan”, and “Maturity Date”, are added to Table D02. | | 二、在部分报表中增加指标以满足新增数据需求。一是在Z01表增加“全球法人机构识别编码”（“LEI编码”）指标。二是在A01-1表中补充采集SPV或壳机构的名称、代码以及所属部门信息。三是在D02表中增加“债务人名称”、“签约金额”、“资金用途”、“原始放款天数”、“到期日”五项指标。 |

The format of Table E01 is revised; the trading items under trade in goods and services are expanded; and the “Trading Code” is specified by referring to the Classification and Codes of Foreign-related Revenue and Expenditure Transactions. | | 三、修改E01表表式，扩充货物及服务贸易项下交易项目，参照《涉外收支交易分类与代码》细化“交易代码”。 |
IV. The sector and industry in which investors (investees) are engaged are further subdivided. The options “Real Estate” and “Non-profit Organization Serving Households” are added to “Industry in Which Overseas Institutional Investors (Investees) Are Engaged” in Tables A01 and A02. The categories of the sectors in which investors (investees) are engaged in all tables are expanded from five to nine.
