Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria for Cooperation in the Field of Health Care and Medical Science

| The Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria (referred to hereafter as the "Contracting parties"), willing to encourage cooperation in the field of health care and medical science, convinced that his cooperation will improve the health of both nations agreed upon the following: | | 中华人民共和国政府和保加利亚共和国政府（以下简称“双方”），为促进两国间卫生和医学科学领域的合作，并坚信这种合作将增强两国人民身体健康而达成如下协议： |
| Article 1 The Contracting parties shall encourage and develop the cooperation in the field of health care and medical science on the basis of reciprocity and mutual interest in accordance with the national legislation of each country. | | 第一条 双方根据两国的法律规定，在对等与互利的基础上鼓励和发展在卫生和医学科学领域的合作。 |
| Article 2 | | 第二条 |
| 1. The Contracting parties shall develop cooperation in the field of health care in the following priority areas: | | 一、双方优先在以下领域开展卫生合作： |
| (1) medical services delivered to the population; | | （一）居民的医疗服务 |
| (2) public health and prophylaxis; | | （二）公共卫生和疾病预防 |
| (3) hygiene of food and sanitary control of health related products; | | （三）食品卫生和与健康相关的产品的卫生监督 |
| (4) epidemiological control of infectious and parasitic diseases; | | （四）传染病和寄生虫病的流行病学监测 |
| (5) environment and health; | | （五）环境与健康 |
| (6) drug policy; | | （六）药政 |
| (7) traditional medicine and biology; | | （七）传统医学和生物学 |
| (8) acupuncture. | | （八）针灸 |
| 2. The cooperation in thus enumerated fields does not exclude other fields of mutual interest. | | 二、双方在上述领域的合作不排除在其它共同感兴趣的领域进行合作。 |
| Article 3 The cooperation shall be realized in practice through: | | 第三条 双方通过如下方式实现合作： |
| 1. exchange of information; | | 一、交换信息 |
| 2. exchange of specialists; | | 二、互派专家 |
| 3. exchange of experience on priority problems; | | 三、交流两国在重点问题的经验 |
| 4. participation of scientists in scientific medical activities at a national level; | | 四、派遣学者参加对方全国性医学科学活动 |
5. joint projects in the field of health care;
