| Announcement on Preventing Newcastle Disease from Spreading into China from Certain Areas of Belgium | | 关于防止比利时部分地区新城疫传入我国的公告 |
| Recently, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) of Belgium filed an urgent report with the Office International des Epizooties (OIE) on the outbreak of Newcastle disease in East Flanders and West Flanders. For the purpose of protecting the safety of China's animal husbandry and preventing the epidemic from entering China, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Quarantine of Imported and Exported Animals and Plants and other relevant laws and regulations, this Announcement is hereby issued as follows: | | 近日，比利时联邦食品安全局向世界动物卫生组织（OIE）紧急通报，东佛兰德省和西佛兰德省发生新城疫。为保护我国畜牧业安全，防止疫情传入，根据《中华人民共和国进出境动植物检疫法》等有关法律法规的规定，现公告如下： |
| I. Direct or indirect import of poultry and poultry products from East Flanders and West Flanders, Belgium, shall be prohibited, the issuance of Quarantine Licenses for Imported Animals and Plants shall be ceased for poultry and poultry products imported from East Flanders and West Flanders, and the Quarantine Licenses for Imported Animals and Plants already issued therefor shall be revoked. | | 一、禁止直接或间接从比利时东佛兰德省和西佛兰德省输入禽类及其产品，停止签发从比利时东佛兰德省和西佛兰德省进口禽类及其产品的《进境动植物检疫许可证》，撤销已经签发的《进境动植物检疫许可证》。 |
| II. Poultry and poultry products shipped from East Flanders and West Flanders, Belgium, on and after the date of issuance of this Announcement shall all be returned or destroyed. | | 二、自本公告发布之日起启运的来自比利时东佛兰德省和西佛兰德省的禽类及其产品，一律做退回或销毁处理。 |
III. Poultry and poultry products from Belgium, by mail or being carried into China by passengers, shall be prohibited from entering China, and shall all be returned or destroyed upon discovery.
