| Article 1 These Provisions are developed in accordance with the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Guarding State Secrets and other laws and regulations for the purposes of keeping state secrets, safeguarding national security and interests, and strengthening the coordination and cooperation of people's procuratorates and secrecy administrative departments in the handling of cases. | | 第一条 为保守国家秘密，维护国家安全和利益，加强人民检察院、保密行政管理部门办理案件的协调配合，根据《中华人民共和国刑法》、《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》、《中华人民共和国保守国家秘密法》等法律法规，制定本规定。 |
Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the handling of cases of encroachment on state secrets as prescribed in paragraph 2 of Article 109 and Articles 110, 111, 282, 398, 431 and 432 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China by people's procuratorates and secrecy administrative departments.
