The People's Bank of China (PBC) injects RMB297.7 billion through targeted medium-term lending facility (TMLF) and another RMB200 billion via medium-term lending facility (MLF) on July 23, 2019. The lending operations total RMB497.7 billion, basically equivalent to RMB502 billion MLF due on the same day. As the liquidity in the banking system will be reasonably adequate afterwards, the PBC decides not to conduct reverse repo operations today.
