| Your request for adding a new area to China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone has been received. The following reply is hereby made: | | 你们关于增设中国（上海）自由贸易试验区新片区的请示收悉。现批复如下： |
| I. The establishment of the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone is approved. | | 一、同意设立中国（上海）自由贸易试验区临港新片区。 |
| II. The Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone shall cover an initial part of 119.5 square kilometers (see Annex for its specific boundaries). The work of placing markers and fixing boundaries shall be filed with the State Council, upon final inspection by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Natural Resources, which shall be responsible for the release thereof. | | 二、中国（上海）自由贸易试验区临港新片区先行启动区域面积为119.5平方公里（具体四至范围见附件）。落桩定界工作，经商务部、自然资源部审核验收后报国务院备案，由商务部、自然资源部负责发布。 |
III. The Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Commerce shall, in conjunction with the relevant departments, effectively organize the implementation of the Framework Plan for the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
