| Announcement on Adjusting the Supervision Mode for the Weight Appraisal of Imported Bulk Commodities | | 关于调整进口大宗商品重量鉴定监管方式的公告 |
| For purposes of thoroughly implementing the requirements of the State Council for the reform of “simplifying procedures, decentralizing powers, combining decentralization with appropriate control, and optimizing services,” further optimizing the business environment at ports and promoting trade facilitation, the General Administration of Customs (“GACC”) has decided to optimize the supervision mode for the weight appraisal of imported bulk commodities. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows: | | 为深入贯彻落实国务院“放管服”改革要求，进一步优化口岸营商环境，提高贸易便利化水平，海关总署决定对进口大宗商品重量鉴定监管方式进行优化。现就有关事项公告如下： |
I. The weight appraisal of each batch of imported bulk commodities currently conducted by the Customs will be adjusted to be conducted by the Customs at the request of enterprises; when necessary, the Customs shall ex officio conduct an appraisal.
