For purposes of regulating the collection and use of user information, especially personal information, in mobile Internet applications (“apps”) and strengthening the protection of personal information, in accordance with the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission have decided to conduct the security certification of apps.
