To better address the issues relevant to the recognition of civil judgments made by the relevant courts of the Taiwan Region and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties concerned, the Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on the People's Courts' Recognition of Civil Judgments of the Relevant Courts of the Taiwan Region (hereinafter referred to as the “Provisions”) are hereby supplemented as follows: | |
为了更好地解决认可台湾地区有关法院民事判决的相关问题，维护当事人的合法权益，现对最高人民法院《关于人民法院认可台湾地区有关法院民事判决的规定》（以下简称《规定》）作出补充规定。 |

| Article 1 Where an applicant applies at the same time for both recognition and enforcement of a civil judgment of a relevant court of the Taiwan Region, the people's court shall examine the recognition application according to the relevant provisions. | | 第一条 申请人同时提出认可和执行台湾地区有关法院民事判决申请的，人民法院应按规定对认可申请进行审查。 |
A civil judgment of a relevant court of the Taiwan Region which is recognized upon a ruling of the people's court shall be of equal effect as an effective judgment of the people's court. If the applicant files an enforcement application with the people's court based on the ruling, the people's court shall accept the application. | |
经人民法院裁定认可的台湾地区有关法院民事判决，与人民法院作出的生效判决具有同等效力。申请人依裁定向人民法院申请执行的，人民法院应予受理。 |
