| In accordance with the requirements of the Notice by the General Office of the State Council of Further Effectively Conducting the Review of Rules and Regulatory Documents Involved in the Reform of “Simplification of Administrative Procedures, Decentralization of Powers, Combination of Decentralization with Appropriate Control, and Optimization of Services” (No. 40 [2017], General Office of the State Council), the People's Bank of China has conducted a comprehensive review of rules issued before December 31, 2017. It is hereby decided that: | | 根据《国务院办公厅关于进一步做好“放管服”改革涉及的规章、规范性文件清理工作的通知》（国办发〔2017〕40号）要求，中国人民银行对2017年12月31日前发布的规章进行了全面清理。现决定： |
| I. Five rules (see Annex 1) including the Interim Measures for the Administration of Foreign Exchange Registration of Foreign-Funded Enterprises (Letter No. 187 [1996], SAFE) are repealed. | | 一、废止《外商投资企业外汇登记管理暂行办法》（（96）汇资函字第187号文印发）等5件规章（见附件1）。 |
