In accordance with the Decision of the State Council to Cancel a Group of Administrative Licensing Items (No. 46 [2017], State Council), four administrative licensing items under the charge of the State Cryptography Administration, including the approval of manufacturers of commercial cryptographic products, licensing of distributors of commercial cryptographic products, approval of use of foreign cryptographic products by foreign-funded enterprises, and approval of use in China of cryptographic products or equipment containing cryptographic technology by foreign organizations or individuals, shall be canceled. Accordingly, the State Cryptography Administration has adjusted the Catalogue of Administrative Approval Items Made Public by the State Cryptography Administration, which is for your compliance and implementation.
