| According to the relevant provisions of the Constitution, the first session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress has decided to establish the Constitution and Law Committee of the National People's Congress. The duties of the “Law Committee” set out in the Organic Law of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, the Legislation Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Supervision of Standing Committees of People's Congresses at Various Levels, the Rules of Procedure for the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China and the Rules of Procedure of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China shall be assumed by the Constitution and Law Committee.
