In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the General Office of the State Intellectual Property Office on Conducting the Pilot Program of Arbitration Mediation of Intellectual Property Disputes (No. 122 [2017], General Office of the SIPO, hereinafter referred to as the “Notice”), upon review of the applications filed under the organization of the intellectual property offices of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), the State Intellectual Property Office has determined Hebei Province, Shanghai Municipality, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Hubei Province, Chongqing Municipality, Gansu Province and Weihai City of Shandong Province as the fourth group of regions covered by the pilot program of arbitration mediation of intellectual property disputes, by taking into comprehensive consideration such factors as the basis of work, regional characteristics, and expected goals. The pilot program will be conducted within the period from June 2017 to June 2019.
