Since the implementation of the pilot program of “non one lot one license” administration system (see Announcement No. 9 [2016] of the People's Bank of China and the General Administration of Customs) for the Import and Export License of the People's Bank of China for Gold and Gold Products (hereinafter referred to as the “License”) from June 1, 2016, the “non one lot one license” administration system for the License has played an active role in simplifying the approval formalities and promoting trade facilitation. To further simplify administrative procedures and decentralize powers, and support the construction of “the Belt and Road,” the relevant issues on expanding the implementation of the “non one lot one license” administration system for the License are hereby announced as follows:
