In accordance with the relevant requirements for carrying out the newly amended and issued Tourism Law on canceling the licensing of “tour leader certificate,” carrying out multiple citizen convenience measures of the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Public Security for traveling in Taiwan, promoting the simplification of administrative procedures and decentralization of powers, integration of decentralization and administration, optimization of services, and other relevant work, in accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Matters concerning Effectively Conducting the Review of Administrative Regulations and Departmental Rules and Documents (Letter No. 12 [2016], General Office of the State Council), the National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Public Security and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council have decided to amend some clauses of the Measures for the Administration of the Travel of Mainland Residents to the Taiwan Region as follows.
