| The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Commerce have decided to amend the Interim Measures for the Administration of Approval of Wholly Foreign-Owned Shipping Companies (Order No. 1 [2000], Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation) as follows: | | 交通运输部、商务部决定对《外商独资船务公司审批管理暂行办法》（交通部、对外贸易经济合作部令2000年第1号）作如下修改： |
| I. Item (2) of Article 5 is deleted. | | 一、将第五条第（二）项删除。 |
| II. Item (3) of Article 5 is amended to read: “It has stable cargo sources or passenger sources in the Chinese open port city where it plans to form a wholly foreign-owned shipping company.” | | 二、将第五条第（三）项修改为“其在拟设独资船务公司的中国对外开放口岸城市具有稳定的货源或者客源”。 |
| III. Item (6) of Article 6 is amended to read: “A sample of the applicant's bill of lading or passenger ticket.” | | 三、将第六条第（六）项修改为“申请者的提单、客票样本”。 |
