| As decided at the 14th session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress, the provisions on price administration in the following laws and decision on relevant legal issues shall be amended as follows: | | 第十二届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第十四次会议决定，对下列法律和有关法律问题的决定中有关价格管理的规定作出修改： |
| I. The Compulsory Education Law of the People's Republic of China shall be amended as follows: | | 一、对《中华人民共和国义务教育法》作出修改 |
| Article 40 is amended to read: “Textbook prices shall be determined under the principle of low profit margins by the price administrative department of the people's government of a province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government in conjunction with the publication administrative department at the same level.” | | 将第四十条修改为：“教科书价格由省、自治区、直辖市人民政府价格行政部门会同同级出版行政部门按照微利原则确定。” |
| II. The Postal Law of the People's Republic of China shall be amended as follows: | | 二、对《中华人民共和国邮政法》作出修改 |
1. Paragraph 4 of Article 2 is amended to read: “For the purposes of this Law, “universal postal services” means the postal services continuously provided for all customers in the territory of the People's Republic of China at reasonable fee rates according to the business scope and service standards prescribed by the state.”
