2001年6月1日，法兰西共和国向中华人民共和国请求引渡涉嫌犯强奸罪的法兰西共和国公民马尔丹·米歇尔。本院依据《中华人民共和国引渡法》的规定，于2001年9月25日以(2001)刑引字第1号指定审查引渡请求决定书，指定中华人民共和国云南省高级人民法院对法兰西共和国提出的引渡请求进行审查。云南省高级人民法院于2001年12月21日作出(2001)云高法引字第1号引渡裁定书，裁定法兰西共和国对被请求引渡人马尔丹·米歇尔提出的引渡请求符合《中华人民共和国引渡法》规定的引渡条件，并依法报请本院核准。本院依法组成合议庭，对云南省高级人民法院的引渡裁定进行了复核。@#
