| In order to promote the construction of Shanghai Municipality as a scientific and technological innovation center with global influence and build more convenient and relaxed intangible infrastructure for entry and exit, with the approval of the State Council, the visa exemption policy for foreign nationals of some countries transiting through China within 144 hours shall be implemented in Shanghai Municipality, Jiangsu Province, and Zhejiang Province.
