As decided at the 15th session of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, the Administrative Oversight Law of the People's Republic of China is amended at follows: | |

| 1. Article 2 is amended to read: "Oversight authorities are authorities that exercise the oversight function on behalf of the people's governments, and shall oversee the administrative agencies of the state and public servants thereof and other persons appointed by administrative agencies of the state in accordance with this Law." | | 一、将第二条修改为：“监察机关是人民政府行使监察职能的机关，依照本法对国家行政机关及其公务员和国家行政机关任命的其他人员实施监察。” |

| 2. Article 5 is amended to read: "In the oversight work, education shall be combined with punishment, and supervisory inspection shall be combined with institutional construction." | | 二、将第五条修改为：“监察工作应当实行教育与惩处相结合、监督检查与制度建设相结合。” |

| 3. Article 6 is amended to read: "The oversight work shall rely on the general public. Oversight authorities shall establish a violation reporting system, under which a citizen, a legal person, or any other organization shall have the right to file an accusation with or inform the oversight authority on a violation of administrative discipline by any administrative agency of the state or civil servant thereof or any other person appointed by an administrative agency of the state. The oversight authority shall accept the report and investigate and deal with the violation according to law. If the reporting party's real name is provided, he shall be given a reply about the handling result and other information." | | 三、将第六条修改为：“监察工作应当依靠群众。监察机关建立举报制度，公民、法人或者其他组织对于任何国家行政机关及其公务员和国家行政机关任命的其他人员的违反行政纪律行为，有权向监察机关提出控告或者检举。监察机关应当受理举报并依法调查处理；对实名举报的，应当将处理结果等情况予以回复。” |
