Since paragraph 1 of Article 27 and Article 35 of the Organic Law of the People's Courts of the People's Republic of China explicitly provide for the trial organization form and organizational nature of the trial work relating to state compensation, the relevant provisions of the staffing and functions of the Compensation Committee set forth in the State Compensation Law of the People's Republic of China have been implemented in legal terms. In accordance with the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council for reviewing relevant documents, the Notice Concerning the Setup of the Compensation Committees and Offices of Higher and Intermediate People's Courts (No. 3 [2002], Supreme People's Court) is hereby repealed.
