Recently, the Supreme People's Court issued the Notice of the Supreme People's Court on Providing Effective Judicial Safeguards for the Complete Halt on Paid Services of Military and Armed Police Forces. The Notice requires courts at all levels to maintain clear green channels for case filing and promptly accept and examine cases involving disputes over the complete halt on paid services. The courts should assign more resources for handling such cases, improve case-handling efficiency, properly understand and apply laws, and protect the legitimate rights of military and civilian parties on an equal basis within the existing legal framework. For parties who apply for enforcement after judgments take effect, the courts should redouble efforts to close cases as soon as practicable to ensure the smooth progress of the complete halt on paid services.
